At the beginning of December, volatile weather (cloudy, fog, rain, possibility of snow to lowlands) and lower temperatures are expected. We suggest drivers to pay attention to higher-lying areas due to the possibility of snow and also the need to use chains. Carefully!

Recommendations
On sections that are problematic in winter (mostly passes or larger hills), there is mostly traffic signals, which warns drivers that in case of snow there are mandatory chains on this part.
When low temperatures occur and in some places at higher altitudes snow already occurs, most of this is noted through notifications. Occasionally, weather and road conditions can change rapidly, so we recommend always monitoring the weather forecast and road conditions.
Until the end of December, various events will take place: in Ljubljana, Maribor, Kranj, Koper, Novo mesto, Murska Sobota and other places around Slovenia.
Some places, especially town squares and streets, will turn into casual events (fairs, concerts and others).
We inform drivers that they are counting on changed traffic signals during this time.
