After April 27, a new traffic arrangement is planned on the Domžale–Zadobrova section, where the construction of a third lane and roadway reconstruction are underway.
A full closure of the carriageway in the direction toward Ljubljana is planned. Traffic will run in both directions on the opposite carriageway, in sections between LJ (Zadobrova) – Šentjakob – Domžale.
The rehabilitation works are planned to be carried out in several phases, expected to last until October 31, 2026.
The anticipated available width of the two narrowed traffic lanes, without modifications to traffic signaling, is approximately 5.00 meters in the direction toward Ljubljana (Zadobrova interchange and Domžale exit).
In the case of exceptional transports with a greater overall width, it is necessary to verify in advance whether the installed traffic signaling allows such transport. Coordination with the ACB Ljubljana maintenance manager is mandatory at least 3 days prior to the transport, and appropriate documentation must also be submitted.
Planned closure works until the end of Year 2026 and plans for Year 2027
- In the period from April to July 2026, the Sneberje interchange towards Ljubljana will be closed (both the exit and entrance will be closed), detour will be via the Šentjakob interchange.
- In the period from July to October 2026, the Šentjakob interchange towards Ljubljana will be closed (both the exit and entrance will be closed), detour will be via the Sneberje interchange.
Works in 2026 are expected to continue until the end of October 2026. During the winter period, work will be suspended, and traffic will be regulated on both carriageways again, with two lanes in each direction.
After the winter break, works will continue in 2027 with the reconstruction of the carriageway on the neighboring carriageway towards Maribor, which will be closed to all traffic during the works. The traffic arrangement will be similar to this year's construction season. Traffic will be diverted to the renovated and widened half of the motorway, which will allow for the establishment of wider temporary lanes and greater traffic flow.
